INVESTIGATION OF COMPRESSIBLE FLOW THROUGH A TURBINE BLADE CASCADE FOR VARIOUS TRANSONIC FLOW REGIMES

This paper deals with the numerical simulation of 2D transonic flow through SE1050 turbine blade cascade at various conditions. The first one concerns design operation a zero incidence angle involved in ERCOFTAC Database CFD-QNET and second +20° corresponding to an off-design operation. Advanced mathematical models two different bypass transition turbulence were applied for regimes flows as well attached separated flows. Transition proposed by Dick et al. [1] Menter Smirnov [2] are based on transport equations intermittency coefficient. Numerical results compared experimental data optical pressure measurements.
